The New York Times, the Old Gray Lady, caries a story by one Sam Dillon entitled Lawmakers Say Needs Of Rural Schools Are Overlooked wherein MY Alaskan hometown of Hooper Bay (Tok notwithstanding) is described as "a primitive settlement with no flush toilets."
Say what?
I have sent a letter to The Times in hopes of being published and since they insist on exclusivity I'll leave my comments at this for now. If my letter gets in, I'll let you know, but read the article and stew with me!
