Thanks, Mark, for bringing this to the attention of Alaskans and those in the Lower 48. As a former Alaskan, I am insulted that the former half-Governor exploited the Iditarod in this way, using the race as a means to promote her husband's IronDog sponsor. I have to wonder whether Sarah Palin was paid by Mystic to sneak this product placement into her Iditarod commercial.
I thought it great that you posted this information to Mudflats and gave proper credit to Palingates for breaking this story. We need to share information on the blogs and get the truth out there for everyone to see. Thanks.
Hi Mark, was that you that called in to Shannyn's show about the Mystik oil deal? If so, thank you for helping get the information out there, and also for crediting Palingates. I can't believe the MSM is not covering this story. If ever there was a HUGE case of hypocrisy it is the half-term Quitter patting herself on the back for refusing to shake Oliver Stone's hand because of Stone's stance re: Hugo Chavez but she and Toad are willing to take Chavez's money via this sponsorship???Also, as a "lower 48" fan of the Iditarod for years, having some friends down here who used to be mushers, it also irritates me that the Iditarod is letting Palin do ads that so prominently advertise Toad's sponsors. What do Toad OR Sarah got to do with the Iditarod? Bad judgment by the organizers...
Isn't it simply amazing how the Palins can constantly make poor decisions yet rake in money as a consequence. They are simply shameless grifters.
Thank you!!! Hopefully Sarah Palin will finally be exposed and shunned from polite society...
Thanks for linking to this story on Palingates. It is a great read. Todd Palin sponsored by the government of Hugo Chavez - Wow!
Thanks for mentioning this on Shannyn's show, I had posted the link to palingates on Shannyn's facebook after yout call...Its needs to get out there :)
Thanks so much for commenting on Shannyn's Show! I've been following the alaska blogs, palingates, Shannynmoore, etc since McCain picked "That Woman" for VP, and I'm amazed she's gotten this far.
Thank you, Mark! Without these Alaskan blogs we would be blind to what is going on.
Thanks, Mark! Nice to meet you (via those canny matchmakers at Palingates), and I appreciate your keeping up the tradition of citizen journalism!
